| Less than 48 hours after falling to NAIA Top-25 opponent Indiana Wesleyan, the Lions upset No. 10 Bethel in convincing fashion, 101-81 at the FMU Wellness Center.

Latavious Mitchell who went ballistic, finishing with a game-high 27 points and grabbing 16 rebounds while dishing out five assists. Teammates
Terrin Hamilton and
Calvin Payton both scored 19 points apiece in the upset, which lifts FMU to 8-4 on the year.
As a team, FMU won the rebound battle 41-32.
Florida Memorial University returns to the court on Thursday, December 19 as they face Barry University in an exhibition contest. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.in Miami Shores.
